Terms of service and sale
Effective from 2 November 2026. In case of any difference, the Estonian version prevails.
1. Provider
The service is provided and sold by Kaikei OÜ (registry code 14180537), Künnapuu tee 4, Suurupi küla, Harku vald, 76907 Harju maakond, Estonia. Contact: tellimus@vaidlus.ee.
2. What the service is
- The service prepares an automated first assessment of a construction dispute based on your description, documents and photos. The assessment is prepared by artificial intelligence using verified sources: the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, Supreme Court case law and building standards.
- The assessment is not legal advice, advice from an attorney or an expert opinion. Using the service does not create a client relationship with a lawyer or a construction expert.
- The assessment is based only on the information you provide. If that information is incomplete or inaccurate, the assessment may be too.
3. Price and payment
- The first two assessments per e-mail address are free.
- Each further assessment costs 4.99 €. This is the final price. It includes up to three refinements of the same case.
- You pay by bank link through the payment provider Montonio. We do not see your card or bank details.
- The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. The assessment is prepared right after the payment is confirmed and shown in your browser.
4. Right of withdrawal
A consumer can usually withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. A paid assessment, however, is prepared right after payment. Before you pay, we therefore ask for your express consent to start right away and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. Once the assessment has been delivered to you, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (Estonian Law of Obligations Act § 53(4) points 1 and 7¹).
If you paid but no assessment was prepared because of a technical error, write to tellimus@vaidlus.ee with the payment reference. We will prepare the assessment again or refund you within 14 days.
5. Your obligations
- Give accurate information about your case.
- Only add documents and photos you have the right to use. Do not include more personal data of other people than you need to describe the case.
- Do not use the service for automated requests, to get around its limits, or in any other way that overloads or harms it.
6. Liability
- The assessment is a first indicative opinion. Before important decisions, such as withholding a payment, terminating a contract or going to court, we recommend having the situation assessed by a lawyer or a construction expert.
- Kaikei OÜ is liable to the extent provided by law. These terms do not limit a consumer's statutory rights.
- The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, a technical failure or an interruption in our partners' services.
7. Expert, lawyer and contract template requests
- At the end of the assessment you can send a request to a construction expert or a lawyer, or, as a builder, ask for a contract template. We pass on the request with your consent.
- You make a contract directly with the expert or lawyer. You agree their price and terms with them. Kaikei OÜ is not responsible for the work of the expert or lawyer.
- Kaikei OÜ may receive a fee from the expert or lawyer for the referral.
8. Using the assessment
You may freely use the assessment and the letter template prepared with it to resolve your case, including sending them to the other party, an expert, a lawyer or the Consumer Disputes Committee.
9. Complaints and disputes
- You can send a complaint to tellimus@vaidlus.ee. We reply within 15 days.
- If we cannot agree, a consumer can turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (ttja.ee) or an Estonian court.
- Estonian law applies to the contract.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. An order is governed by the terms published when it was placed.
How we process personal data is described in the privacy notice.
